Research has been carried out in a number of countries.

 

A study carried out in A Chance to Grow New Visions School in Minneapolis over a four year period 1996/97 to 1999/2000 showed improvements in the following areas:

• Auditory word discrimination

• Sentence memory

• Thinking and reasoning skills

• Social language and behaviour.

Research in Holland showed significant improvements in:

• Technical reading/decoding

• Spelling

• Visual memory

• Phonemic analysis

• Rapid naming

• Reading comprehension

• Auditory laterality.
